Activity Insights

What is Sequencing?

This activity helps students identify the sequence of key events in a familiar story.

Why do students struggle with Sequencing?

Students will have difficulty if they cannot identify where a story begins and ends or they don’t understand the logical flow of a story.

How do I further support students?

After students are familiar with a story, ask them to identify what happens in the beginning, the middle, and the end.
